Casino ParkingI got run off the premises by security guards right after shooting this at a casino in Reno, NV that shall remain nameless. As those boys crankily marched over to confront me and my tripod… I thought of all the photographers’ stories of not being allowed to shoot in a public place. Having their camera confiscated. Being harassed, even arrested. It’s stupid. But there you have it. Luckily, I’m an actress. So I became my mom. The nicest, sweetest, most innocent person with the loveliest demeanor you’ll ever find. Geniune. And never took “No” for an answer. She always said “Kill ’em with kindness”. Which I did. A confrontation that started with the action words: scold, harrass, scowl and bluster… ended with smiling, helping, waving and have-a-great-evening-ing. Thanks Mom.
